A bit of history went down last night as the Rolling Stones kicked off their five-date 50th anniversary tour starting at London’s O2 Arena. Special guests included former Rolling Stones (1962-1993) bass player Bill Wyman and former Rolling Stones (1969-1974) guitarist Mick Taylor, as well as Jeff Beck and Mary J Blige. The Rock legends did not disappoint as Mick Jagger arrived on stage wearing a cape bringing his unprecedented electric energy, going through all their classics hits ‘Brown Sugar’, ‘Jumpin’ Jack Flash’, ‘Paint It Black’ but ran out of time to do ‘Satisfaction’. The Rolling Stones will play London again on November 29th, then Brooklyn and two dates in Newark, but Keith Richards hinted that more dates are surely to come – watch this space!
