One billion views on YouTube and 45 million fans on Facebook, Linkin Park is surely the most liked rock band of 2012 beating Green Day and Red Hot Chili Peppers, who have 245m and 327m views.

The controversial and outrageous Lady Gaga was the first to reach one billion in October 2010 which has now been overtaken by Justin Beiber having 2.8 billion views on his main channel. Rihanna also took over Gaga in the beginning of this year making Gaga the third most popular artists on YouTube.

Linkin Park currently has 1,006,691,614 hits on their channel. The group uploaded 72 videos since March of 2007 but most of the traffic comes from 2009's 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen' theme, 'New Divide', which has over 131 million views.

Linkin Park released their new album 'Living Things' on June 25 this summer. The album is the fifth full-length effort of the band's career and the follow-up to 2010's 'A Thousand Suns'. It was produced by Rick Rubin.
