Legendary American festival Coachella offered to go 100% vegan for a whole weekend to see Morrissey and Marr perform together.

While promoting his Australian tour, Morrisey revealed to Herald Sun that Coachella bosses wanted to see him and Marr back together, he said: "Interestingly the agents for Coachella offered a 100-per-cent vegetarian event for the following year if I would agree to headline with Johnny Marr as the Smiths. Fascinatingly they made it clear that they would 'not require' the Smiths' bass player or drummer... which I thought certainly said something."

In 2009 edition of the American festival, The former Smiths front man and a hardcore vegetarian had refused to perform because he couldn’t stand the barbeque smell on the stage.
